A Warm Welcome for the Little Ones
At Lorenzini Art Daycare Center, we extend a heartfelt welcome to the youngest members of our community. Our specially designed infant groups across our five locations provide 30 children aged one to three years with a nurturing and loving start in life outside the home. With empathy and professional expertise, we support the first steps of our infants and create an environment where each child feels secure and cared for.
Gentle Start
The acclimatization of your child at Lorenzini Art Daycare Center is conducted gently and individually, following the proven Berlin model. This approach allows your child to gradually adjust to the new environment and caregivers.
Initially, the child visits the center briefly and with a parent, and over the following days and weeks, their time at the center is gradually increased. This process culminates in a reliable and positive attachment in the infant room. Our acclimatization process typically lasts around four weeks.
Our Educational Philosophy
Our educational concept is based on the fundamental belief that every child has an innate desire to explore and learn. Therefore, it is our task to design the daycare in a way that best supports this natural self-education process.
We implement the Reggio Emilia principle of “the environment as the third educator” by dividing the care rooms into child-friendly functional areas. For example, children will find a studio, an exploration area, a children’s apartment, a building space, and role-play opportunities.
The role of educators is to support the children’s self-education process by maintaining order and structure in these functional areas. We provide children with the freedom to explore and discover while also serving as a “safe haven” when emotional support is needed.
To ensure a smooth daily routine for all children, the mandatory latest drop-off time is at 9:00 AM.
